Read about the difference a Veterans Services Officer (VSO) can make for Veterans.
Sandy proudly accepted the position of Deputy Director for the Wyoming Veterans Commission in September of 2024 after serving as a Veteran Service Officer for the previous 4 years. Prior to joining the Wyoming Veterans Commission, she spent over 20 years advocating for victims of violent crime. Sandy believes that strong partnerships between both government and non-government agencies are essential to achieving the common goal of service to those in need. Sandy brings with her years of public service experience and the energy to successfully navigate through challenges as we strive for systematic responses that enhance the lives of veterans, their families and caregivers.
